As a young camper, Daniel Abramson was always the kid who walked into the dining hall covered in mud or walked in late because he got distracted watching clouds or observing bees. During his time at camp, he discovered the power of curiosity and play as ways of learning about ourselves, others, and the world around us. Teri joined the FJC team in 2016. The granddaughter of two Holocaust survivors, Teri was raised to take pride in her Judaism and contribute strongly to the community around her. She strengthened her Jewish identity through her involvement in United Synagogue Youth (USY) where she gained an informal Jewish education and important leadership skills. Jill Goldstein Smith joined Foundation for Jewish Camp in 2015 following years in television news. As a senior program manager, she focuses on professional development, leadership, Jewish education, community care and MESSH (mental, emotional, social, and spiritual health). She traveled from south Florida to spend summers at URJ Camp Coleman and URJ Kutz Camp as a camper, counselor, and educator - and an FJC Cornerstone Fellow in 2006! Steph Sussman is a third year studying Experience Industry Management, concentrating in Outdoor Recreation Management, at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Being born and raised in Los Angeles, Steph was an active participant in their local synagogue, Valley Beth Shalom (Encino, CA), and various programs that spanned the globe, including USY, JQ International, Diller Teen Fellows, and Songleader Boot Camp. Steph spends their summers at Camp Ramah in California, where they have been on staff since the summer of 2021.
